Less than three days to go until the exhibition of my work created during my residency at the Old Birrego School begins.
I am not ready.
There is so much more to collating to do, not to mention the installation of the artwork. Our plan is to create two soundscapes and four to five visual projections for total immersion in and out of the school room.
Hunched over the computer, decisions of what memories of the Old Birrego School to be shared with the wider community begins to take shape.
The former students, their families, Vic and Sarah’s neighbours, artists and arts workers from WaggaWagga will all come through the front gate of the Old Birrego School in just a few days.
